2015 - A Year in Review

So here we are, at the end of the year. Given the fact that we've been cruising through December in 50 degree weather here in Chicago, it's hard to believe that we're only days away from the calendar officially telling us Winter is upon us. You're not hearing any complaints from this corner though! The end of the year also means I mentally go into vacation mode (I guess I also get that 'vacation mode' vibe from warm sunny weather, any long weekend, a friend coming into town, a new restaurant opening, a sale at my favorite store...yeah...I don't think it takes much for me to ease into vacation mode). But, maybe celebrating the holidays with friends and family is a bit more warranted to take off time than spending a day on Michigan Ave because Pottery Barn has 20% off. So, with that, I thought it would be a good time to officially wrap up this blog for 2015 until I hit the ground running next year! Instead of sharing a new project, I decided I'd give a recap of the best of 2015.

I had a lot of fun going through my blog and reminiscing of all the projects I have accomplished this year. I laughed, I cried, I cringed. But at the end of the day, I am really proud of everything I have achieved over this past year both in my furniture and in our home. Here goes...

10) Custom Bathtub Frame

There you have it, folks. 2015 summarized in 10 great memories! I have a lot in store for next year and am excited to continue to grow my business, my blog, and myself. Thanks so much for following along with me every week. I can't tell you enough how much your comments, emails, and 'likes' mean to me. I have so much fun doing what I'm doing, but hearing compliments back from readers and customers is by far the most gratifying part of this job. You keep me motivated and inspired and push me to continually try new things and push myself harder.

I wish you all a very happy holiday season and can't wait to connect again next year!

From my family, to yours, Happy Holidays!
