This is the time of year when everyone loves to recap the past 365 days in the form of lists. We look back and remember the good, the bad, and everything in between. Let's face it, there was a lot that happened in 2016...and it ain't all good! But for today we'll focus on the home & lifestyle part of the world. So, what exactly has happened? While Chip & Joanna Gains have captured America's hearts and have become our sweetheart couple, Christina & Tarek El Moussa have sadly announced their split. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint continues to grow as she expanded her product line to include three new colors, Honfleur, Giverny and Amsterdam Green, and two new waxes, white and black. I have yet to use the new colors, however that Amsterdam Green looks scrumptious! Although Restoration Hardware has invested millions of dollars revamping their image, building concept stores and adding the RH Modern line, their stock continues to tank. And finally, American designer Mark D. Sikes is making a name for himself as he transitions from the fashion world to the interior design world. He published is first book, Beautiful, which is filled with none other than beautiful spaces and tons of inspiration.
Yes, it was a busy year in deed. And over here, it was just as eventful. Here is a look back at my top 10 favorite blog posts.
I always enjoy taking some time to reflect back on the year. It's a good opportunity to remember everything I have accomplished. It also provides an opportunity to start looking forward and making a plan for the year ahead. This, is what I'm most excited about. I have a lot planned for 2017 and there are going to be a lot of projects that I'm looking forward to sharing with you all. Get ready, it's going to be a fun and eventful year for sure!
I also want to take this moment to thank all of you, my readers and supporters. You continue to inspire me and push me to do better. This whole little blog thing wouldn't work if it wasn't for you. I wish all of you a healthy and happy new year. Cheers to 2017!
